Federica Rossi is a lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London. She holds a PhD and a Masters in Economics from the University of Torino and a First Degree in Political Economy from the University of Modena. Before joining Birkbeck, she held various research fellowships at universities in Italy, working on two large scale European Research Framework projects, as well as on several projects funded by national and regional agencies. She has worked as a consultant for the OECD, the UK's Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property, the EC/Eurostat and regional and local development agencies. Her research interests include: economics and management of intellectual property rights; innovation activities of firms and networks of firms; economics and governance of the higher education sector; university-industry linkages and innovation; science and technology policy.
