Claudio Fassio is a post-doc fellow at the School of European Political Economy (SEP), LUISS Guido Carli, Rome. Claudio earned his Phd in Economics in 2011 at the University of Turin, where he also attended a Master in Economics (CORIPE). He has been a post-doc fellow at the CERIS-CNR Institute in Moncalieri in 2012-2013. During his PhD he has been a doctoral visiting fellow at the United Nation University MERIT in Maastricht, Netherlands. His research interests focus on the economicsĀ of innovation, competitiveness dynamics among European firms and university-industry linkages. He has contributed to the European research project Policy Incentives for the Creation of Knowledge: Methods and Evidence (PICK-ME), part of the EC 7th Framework Program. He has published on international scientific journals such as The Journal of Technology Transfer, Science and Public Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
