Giuseppe Scellato received a PhD in Economics form the University of Turin and is presently assistant professor at the Polytechnic of Turin, where he teaches corporate finance and economics and management of innovation. His main research interests are in the area of industrial dynamics, innovation and the economic analysis of intellectual property rights. He has contributed articles to international refereed journals, such as Research policy, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Review of Law and Economics, International Small Business Journal. He is scientific coordinator of research projects funded by the European Investment Bank and by  the European Commission (DG Internal Market and 7th Framework Program).
